Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Frankfurt, the fell 0.21%, while the index declined 0.10%, and the index climbed 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the were Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (ETR:), which rose 2.02% or 9.10 points to trade at 459.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Adidas AG (ETR:) added 1.99% or 3.14 points to end at 161.06 and Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. (ETR:) was up 1.62% or 0.58 points to 36.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Dr Ing hc F Porsche AG Preferred (ETR:), which fell 3.13% or 3.70 points to trade at 114.70 at the close. Vonovia SE (ETR:) declined 2.80% or 0.79 points to end at 27.40 and Siemens Energy AG (ETR:) was down 2.28% or 0.44 points to 19.09.
The top performers on the MDAX were Knorr-Bremse AG (ETR:) which rose 2.67% to 65.28, CTS Eventim AG (ETR:) which was up 2.46% to settle at 66.60 and Fraport AG (ETR:) which gained 2.25% to close at 54.58.
The worst performers were Aroundtown Property Holdings PLC (ETR:) which was down 4.69% to 2.76 in late trade, Tag Immobilien AG (ETR:) which lost 3.82% to settle at 8.57 and Software AG (ETR:) which was down 3.70% to 20.80 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were CompuGroup Medical AG O.N. (ETR:) which rose 2.33% to 45.64, Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (ETR:) which was up 2.02% to settle at 459.70 and Siltronic AG (ETR:) which gained 1.71% to close at 86.25.
The worst performers were Software AG (ETR:) which was down 3.70% to 20.80 in late trade, Cancom SE O.N. (ETR:) which lost 2.63% to settle at 31.16 and SMA Solar Technology AG (ETR:) which was down 2.28% to 77.20 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 338 to 336 and 88 ended unchanged.
Shares in Dr Ing hc F Porsche AG Preferred (ETR:) fell to all time highs; losing 3.13% or 3.70 to 114.70. Shares in Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. (ETR:) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.62% or 0.58 to 36.65.
The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was up 1.32% to 16.90.
Gold Futures for April delivery was down 2.91% or 56.20 to $1,874.60 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 2.94% or 2.23 to hit $73.65 a barrel, while the April Brent oil contract fell 2.62% or 2.15 to trade at $80.02 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.90% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.44% to 0.90.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.11% at 102.71.
