Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the gained 2.11%.
The best performers of the session on the were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:), which rose 3.91% or 35.40 points to trade at 941.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Demant A/S (CSE:) added 3.31% or 7.00 points to end at 218.80 and Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:) was up 2.77% or 14.20 points to 527.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CSE:), which fell 1.70% or 14.60 points to trade at 844.20 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:) declined 1.51% or 3.10 points to end at 201.70 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) was down 1.08% or 175.00 points to 15,960.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 83 to 73 and 11 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.79% or 0.60 to $75.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.74% or 0.61 to hit $81.56 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 2.64% or 50.95 to trade at $1,879.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.72% to 6.87, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.92% at 102.51.
